Summer Loving...

It's that time of the week where we introduce a project you can try at home and vamp up your wardrobe and your style.

This week, make your own headbands or simply redesign a headband you already have to create something a little avant garde (think Katy Perry or Rihanna) or simple and girly like Taylor Swift or Emma Watson.

All you need is a plain ol' headband and then whatever you want to accessorize it with!  It could be something simple like some material wrapped around the head band, recycled from an old T-Shirt or a dress, accompanied by some fake flowers or a bow, or you could use something a bit more crazy like playing cards, or fake fruit - someoversized cherries look fab on a headband!

Use a glue gun to ensure they stick to the headband (*be careful, they're hot*) and you are ready to go out and rock your new look!

The best thing is you can make these headbands by re using old materials you may have lying around and making them into something new and exciting.  As well as making headbands, you can also make hair clips and even a vintage veil.

If a hard headband isn't your style then why not try re-using an old tie and turning that into a head band? The possibilities are endless when accessorizing your hair this summer!

Don't have time to make your own?  Don't worry, we've got some gorgeous hats, head bands and fascinators coming in to the Offset Warehouse Boutique soon...
